Mark has been married to his wife, Joan for over 35 years and has two adult married sons. Mark graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology/Computer Technology from Northern Michigan University. Mark worked in this field until he began serving as a missionary to Cambodia with AGWM in 1993. He served faithfully for 20 years, from 1993-2014. During that time he was Director of the Sihanoukville Children’s Home, started a K-12 Christian school and began a university student boarding house with his wife. Mark and Joan have taken several student teams to Cambodia on short term trips. Mark is a visionary and will hold the position of President and his duties are as written in the by-laws and include presiding at all meetings of the board of directors, voting on board decisions, carry through of those decisions, and fundraising. He receives compensation for his services.

Vice-President/Treasurer

Joan and her husband, Mark raised their two sons in Cambodia. Joan graduated with a BS in Speech Therapy and a MS in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and worked several years in her field. Joan then served with Mark as a missionary to Cambodia for 20 years. During that time she managed all of their ministry finances and correspondence, while assisting Mark in daily ministry activities and overseeing the homeschooling of her sons. Joan worked at a private Christian school serving in an administrative role more than ten years. Joan will hold the position of Vice-President and Treasurer and her duties are as written in the by-laws and include attending meetings of our board of directors, voting on board decisions, fundraising and management of the day-to-day finances of the Cambodia 316 ministry. She does not receive compensation for her services.

Troy Fritzel

Secretary

Upon graduating from high school in Anchorage, AK, Troy attended the University of Wyoming where he earned a Bachelors of Science in wildlife management and secondary education.  Eager to return to his home state of Alaska, he completed an apprenticeship program in commercial sheet metal work and HVAC service through the Sheet Metal Workers International Association.  As a journeyman sheet metal worker, he worked his way through the various aspects of mechanical contacting, eventually becoming the president and CEO of General Mechanical, Inc. where he worked for 23 years until he retired in 2015.  Troy is now the managing member of Atticus Investments, a limited liability corporation that oversees various real estate development projects and investments within the Christian film industry and is also a licensed Wilderness EMT. Troy and his wife Kari have three boys, and are often found on the Nordic ski trails where they help coach cross country running and Nordic skiing. Troy’s greatest joy is seeing his kids walking with the Lord (3 John 4) and the growth of the Church, both locally and internationally. Troy will hold the position of Secretary and his duties are spelled out in the by-laws. This is a voluntary position and he does not receive compensation for his services.

Mark Larson

Board Member

Mark Larson will serve as a board member for the non-profit. Mark and his wife, Susanne have two married sons. Mark currently serves as the Lead Pastor of Portview Church in Port Washington, Wisconsin and served as a missionary in Cambodia for one year. Through the ministries of these organizations, Mark has been engaged in developing and overseeing ministries to those less fortunate. Mark will be able to draw from his experience to help the non-profit accomplish its mission. As a Board Member, his duties are spelled out in the by-laws and will include involvement in meetings of our board of directors and voting on board decisions. He volunteers his time and does not receive compensation for his services.
